Misery infects my dusty bones
An empty soul, a heart of stone
I've lost my will to the unknown
Inherited a crumbling throne
In turbulance a churning sky
Gathered darkness by and by
Yet in this hour I wonder why
I have condemned myself to die
Seek refuge under wings of decay
Shatter the soul in the heart of the night
Reap a harvest of empty dismay
A withering breeze in the fading twilight
Fortune sides with he who dares
Questions met with saddened stares
Jaded with clandestine cares
Lured into a monsters lair
A chasm oh so very deep
Exiled to an endless sleep
Riddled with a sullen grief
